Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone that wants to learn to fly a light aircraft, either for fun or as the first step to becoming a professional pilot.
What are the entry requirements?
To apply for the course you must be at least 17 years old and be able to read, write and orally communicate in the English language. We also recommend that you complete our PPL(A) Groundschool Course before you start the flying course, or a short way into it.
What qualification will be awarded?
At the end of the course, you will have a test with an EASA Flight Examiner. On passing this, you will receive you will receive an EASA Private Pilot’s Licence for Aeroplanes.
What does the course cover?
The course covers the 45 flight hours that are required to complete the PPL course.
What’s not included with this course?
Accommodation (although we are happy to arrange this if needed), food, equipment, test fees and extra flying hours over the 45 hours minimum.
What are my opportunities once the course is completed?
Once the course is completed, you can use it for recreation and add further ratings, such as a Night Rating or Multi-Engine Rating. Alternatively, you can build up your flying hours and proceed to the Commercial Pilot Licence and eventually become a professional pilot.
How long is the course?
The course varies in length according to the weather but usually takes around 6-8 weeks.
Where and how is the course delivered?
The course is delivered at our partner school near Malaga. Flights are conducted every day, weather permitting.
