Instrument Rating (IR) Flight Course – Spain


This covers the 45 flight hours required to complete the IR course (this course assumes that you have a CPL(A), please request details of our course for PPL/IR). This course is delivered at our partner school near Malaga.

Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone wanting to improve their skills and fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) or wanting to become a professional pilot.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need a CPL(A).

What qualification will be awarded?
At the end of the course you will have a flight test with an EASA Flight Examiner and on passing this you can apply for an Instrument Rating.

What does the course cover?
This covers the required flight hours for the Instrument Rating course.

What’s not included with this course?
Accommodation (although we are happy to arrange this if needed), food, equipment.

What are my opportunities once the course is completed?
Once you have the IR you can complete an APS-MCC course and become a professional pilot.

How long is the course?
The course lasts around 7-8 weeks.
