Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone that wants to earn a living from flying, either for the airlines, corporate jets, or as a flight instructor.
What are the entry requirements?
To apply for this course you must be at least 18 years old. You must already hold a PPL(A). You must be able to read, write and orally communicate in the English language to a minimum of ICAO Level 4 and have completed either the CPL or ATPL Theory Course. Hold a First Class Medical certificate. Have at least 150 hours total flight time.
What qualification will be awarded?
On completion of the course you will have a test with a CAA Flight Examiner. On passing this, you will receive a Commercial Pilot Licence.
What does the course cover?
The course covers 25 hours flying, some of which can be done in a simulator.
What’s not included with this course?
Accommodation (although we are happy to arrange this if needed), food, equipment, test fees and extra flying hours over the 25 hours minimum.
What are my opportunities once the course is completed?
Following this course you will be able to earn a living as a flight instructor. Or you can go on to complete an APS-MCC course and you will then be able to apply for work as a professional pilot.
How long is the course?
The course varies in length but you need to allow around 3-6 weeks.

The course is delivered at our partner school at Biggin Hill Airport.
