DRONE TRAINING WITH BSA
BSA now offers a drone training course for recreational and aspiring commercial drone operators to achieve their CAA-approved certificate of competency.
This is called the GVC – General Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) Certificate.
NEXT COURSE STARTS MONDAY 13TH JULY
The intensive 3-day course includes 2 days of theory, an online test and a 1 day practical flight test.
In order to protect students and staff, theory training will be held at our London Luton Airport training facility in accordance with ‘Covid Secure’ government guidelines. Courses are restricted to a maximum of 8 students to allow for safe social distancing.

Endorsed by BSA, Drone Safe is an information resource designed to help drone users access all the information they need about flying drones safely and legally.
Its Drone Code is a simple set of rules designed by a number of UK aviation regulatory bodies to promote the safe and responsible use of drones:
Don’t fly near airports or airfields – it is illegal to fly a drone within 5km of an airport or airfield boundary
Remember to stay below 400ft (120m) and at least 150ft (50m) away from buildings and people
Observe your drone at all times – maintain VLOS (Visual Line of Sight)
Never fly near aircraft
Enjoy your drone responsibly
